AdamsTech receives UL Recognition of its Trimless LetterForm and offers Trimless Bootcamp

adamstechtrimless1-inAdamsTech (Boulder, CO) has announced that after careful testing conducted on its new Trimless Channel Letter material by Underwriters Laboratories (UL), LetterForm has been officially listed as a UL-Recognized Component. AdamsTech is the exclusive distributor for the SDS ChannelBender series of channel letter benders, along with other equipment and supplies for the fabrication of all types of letters and logos, including Trimless channel letters.
The company was recently recognized as the premier innovator and visionary provider of equipment and technology for channel letters and other dimensional letters. Sign Builder Illustrated (SBI), the sign industry’s leading trade magazine and website, identified and honoured AdamsTech as its 2016 Trendsetter in the Channel Letter Benders category. This designation recognized AdamsTech for its contributions to the sign industry as “an innovator and visionary of signage.”

“After the Innovation Award at this year’s ISA Expo, official UL recognition is another sign that this material is going to be big,” said James Cross, Product Manager at AdamsTech. “With national programs already adopting our Trimless signage, they can rest assured that LetterForm has been professionally tested and is ready for installation.”
In order to meet the surge in demand for this material, AdamsTech keeps LetterForm in stock at its headquarters in Boulder, Colorado. Coils are available in 37mm (1-3/8”), 60mm (2-3/8”) and 100mm (4”) heights and are pre-painted in black or white. While currently available in .040” aluminum, polished stainless steel material is in the final stages of R&D and should be available shortly.

AdamsTech also announced its plan to offer customers a Trimless Bootcamp – a three-day training program to arm sign makers with the skills and knowledge needed to fabricate Trimless. In addition to exclusive access and comprehensive training on patented fabrication techniques (including LiquiLetter, the resin design process AdamsTech introduced this year at the ISA Expo), attendees will receive in-depth machine training and learn how to optimize their ChannelBender series machines for all types of materials. With customers already signed up for the program, AdamsTech expects its Trimless Bootcamp to make a significant impact on the sign industry. Classes are scheduled to start this year. AdamsTech introduced the first version of its patented technology in 1996, and continues to work with the signage and design community to identify and develop new and innovative solutions for sign makers. The company also continues to work with its global manufacturing partners to continuously refine and improve automated metal fabrication processes and technologies.
