Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions North America’s new PVC-free film, MPI 1405, is an “ultra-conformable” film with a long-term removable (LTR) adhesive with “reliable and superior print quality and instant adaptability” that make it suitable for a broad range of applications – from car wraps and outdoor graphics, to textured surfaces like brick walls or cinderblock. The new film is warranted for cement, brick and concrete surfaces, making it ideal for indoor and outdoor architectural applications. It also requires less heat during installation, due to its high conformability. Fleet and vehicle wraps, which require an eco-friendly solution, can also benefit from MPI 1405, which is Greenguard Certification pending. The new product is available with Easy Apply RS technology to provide quick and easy application and long-term removability over complex curves and deep recesses. Easy Apply air egress technology also helps eliminate wrinkles and bubbles while providing repositionability and slideability, allowing the film to be moved easily before pressure is applied. Another key feature is quick and easy installation over complex curves and deep recesses with Easy Apply RS technology.
