Canon Solutions America’s Large Format Solutions Division has collaborated with Contex, one of the world’s largest developers and producers of large-format imaging solutions, to offer Contex IQ Quattro scanners. The Quattro scanners can be used stand-alone or paired with most Canon large-format printers – including the Océ PlotWave Series or Océ ColorWave printers. The announcement comes as the division “continues to broaden its offerings with leading-edge products designed to meet the needs of its vast and dynamic range of customers. In its latest move, the division further solidifies its place at the forefront of the large-format print industry by working closely with another renowned industry leader,” said Canon. Contex technology offers a cost-efficient solution, but also works well as a front-end for high production printers, creating high-speed copy solutions in both colour and B&W. IQ Quattro 4400 scanners are now available through csa.canon.com.

Additionally, with Contex CleanScan CIS modules, Ethernet and Nextimage software, users will also be able to leverage the scanners’ ability to work with various applications – including maps, technical drawings, large documents, and posters, among others – helping them achieve improvements in speed and quality.
