For over a decade, the most award-winning commercial printer in Canada, CJ Graphics of Mississauga, Ontario, has held one of the most popular and well-attended in-person events in our industry – its annual Christmas Party and Fundraiser led by CJ Graphics President Jay Mandarino. Because of COVID-19 restrictions, the company’s popular event and fundraiser for the Learning Disabilities Association of Ontario and CJ’s Skatepark Foundation, will go online this Wednesday, December 16 beginning at 7 pm and ending at 7:45 pm. This year’s event would not be possible without support from its sponsors – notably the National Bank Independent Network, Heathbridge Capital Management, and CJ Graphics Incorporated. Below are details regarding the online event, the live auction and the silent auction. The Virtual Fundraiser will begin with some hilarious one-of-a-kind sketches featuring Canadian comedy icon Colin Mochrie, followed almost immediately by a live virtual auction.
Live auction. If you’re planning on participating in the live auction on December 16th, please visit the JBM live auction website and register in advance: https://live.jbmauctionservices.com/. After registering, you’ll receive an email with your ‘paddle number’ that you will need to use to login. The live auction will feature wines from Jay Mandarino’s personal wine cellar and is open for you to browse items and start bidding! On December 16, after Mochrie’s comedy sketches, the live auction will begin hosted, as always, by MC & Auctioneer Jay Mandarino.
Silent auction. There’s a huge variety of fabulous items on the silent auction website – including a selection of wines, autographed sports collectors’ items, home décor, and much more. Click here to access the silent auction: https://app.galabid.com/cjskatepark/ and feel free to share the link. Please note that the silent auction closes on Thursday, December 17 at noon.
Proceeds from both auctions will go to CJ’s Skatepark, a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to the development of all children and youth – including at-risk and special needs young people – through the benefits of skateboarding, scooter riding and inline skating.
