The April 14 episode will offer insights into the current state and future prognosis of PDF and PDF 2.0 from Matt Kuznicki, Chairman of the Board of the PDF Association. He’ll ll discuss the challenges of managing PDF files of different quality while ensuring efficient RIP speed and print output quality. Also, Alan Darling, Vice President of Information Systems at the Quantum Group, will speak about the evolution to a single-source communications partner. On-demand printing has its own set of challenges processing PDF input files of various quality. The segment concludes with a 15-minute Q&A session.

Co-organized with Henry Stewart Events, this episode will discuss the role that Dalim plays in helping to manage and transform creative operations – regardless of the content type, and the final destination for that content. Examples will include (but are not limited to) packaging, in-store graphics, e-commerce, photography and catalogues. Mark Maguire, Production Director at SDL, a global leader in content creation, translation and delivery, will explain how automation plays a critical part in reducing time to market and operational costs. Florent Epaud, founder of InPagina, a production house specializing in data publishing, who’s spent his last 15 years automating a wide variety of marketing production projects for both digital and print campaigns, will weigh in. He now holds the role of Solutions Project Manager at Dalim Software. Moderator Isabelle Billerey Rayel of Dalim Software will investigate identifying opportunities for automation, such as reducing risks throughout the content lifecycle, removing barriers to adoption, re-evaluating a program after initial success, and sustaining overall progress.
