DIA’s Christmas Luncheon and Annual General Meeting to explore “The Age of Disruption”

We’re in the age of disruption. Today’s business climate is changing at an unprecedented rate. Every week, it seems, there’s a new strategy, social media site or technology that’s a “must use” or a “game changer.” What we lose in this endless quest for the next bright, shiny business object is the enduring fact that at the core of business success, while everything has supposedly changed, nothing is really that different. The core business drivers of trust, connection, consistency and service will always trump any new app to hit the market. On Wednesday December 6, 2017 at The Boulevard Club (1491 Lakeshore Blvd. West in Toronto), the Digital Imaging Association (DIA) will present The Age Of Disruption: Everything Has Changed and Nothing Is Different. Keynote speaker will be Scott Stratten, President of Un-Marketing and one of the leading speakers and authors in the world when it comes to helping audiences embrace the age of disruption. He’s written five best-selling business books and was formerly a music industry marketer, national sales training manager, and a Professor at the Sheridan College School of Business in Toronto. Stratten is an advocate of UnMarketing, UnBranding and UnSelling – and, he says, was put on this earth to remind the world that not all Canadians are passively polite. Businesses like PepsiCo, Saks Fifth Avenue, IBM, Cirque du Soleil, Microsoft and others have been brave enough to seek his advice – to the point that he’s been named one of the Top 5 Social Media Influencers in the world by Forbes.com.
Cocktails will be served from 11:30 am until noon with the luncheon and presentation from noon to 2 pm. Cost is:

  • $70 per person (tables of 8 or 10, members and guests)
  • $75 per person (individual members and guests)
  • $90 per person (tables of 8 or 10, non-members and guests)
  • $95 per person (individual non members and guests)
