The Digital Book World (DBW) Conference will bring together innovators, experts and newsmakers in the publishing industry . This will include large, medium and and small publishers, traditional and non-traditional publishers, and the technology companies that serve all of them. The event takes place Tuesday, September 10, Wednesday, September 11 and Thursday, September 12 at the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee. Pre-conference workshops will be held on Monday, September 9.
The event will feature publishing’s most influential leaders, including representatives from Audible, Kickstarter, Microsoft, Amazon, the American Library Association, Dollywood Foundation, Simon & Schuster, Penguin Random House Audio, Macmillan Learning, Hachette Book Group, Ingram Content Group, Novel Effect, Association of University Presses, Alliance for Independent Authors, the U.S. Copyright Office, Stanford University and Publishers Weekly, and many others. The opening keynote presentation will be delivered by Lisa Lucas, Executive Director of the U.S. National Book Foundation. The closing keynote address will be presented by Ted Crisco of the U.S. Army, which recently released its first-ever audiobook.
