Drytac, an international manufacturer of self-adhesive materials for the print, label and industrial markets, has boosted its converting capabilities with the addition of a new German-made, high-quality sheeter at its Canadian manufacturing plant in Brampton, Ontario. “We always look for ways to better serve our customers,” said Paul Vanderweide, Vice President of Operations at Drytac Canada. “Additional in-house, on-demand sheeting means more convenience and faster delivery times for our customers. With this new machine, we can efficiently cut a wide range of customized sizes, including sheets up to 62 inches wide by 10 feet long. This is a great new addition to our custom converting services.”
Drytac has offered custom rolls sizes for the past 40 years. The new converter has been added to meet the growing demand for custom sheet sizes of Drytac SpotOn and ViziPrint self-adhesive window products, fueled, said the company, by the growth and increased use of high-volume sheetfed printing presses. Drytac Polar and ReTac self-adhesive print vinyl clients will also benefit from this new custom sheet service. Drytac is an international manufacturer of adhesive-coated products – including graphic films, window films, double-sided tapes, self-adhesive print media, label stock, industrial adhesives, and heat-activated and pressure-sensitive laminates and mounting adhesives. Drytac can also create unique customized adhesive products to customer specifications.
