Epson America has achieved record sales of the Epson SurePress L-4033AW and L-6034VW Digital Label Presses for the fiscal year ending April 30, 2017. Epson America and its global affiliates had over 250 SurePress units installed worldwide – including in North and South America, Europe and China. “Between the continued momentum of the SurePress L-4033AW, and the addition of the SurePress L-6034VW, this just-ended fiscal year was record-breaking for Epson’s digital label presses,” said Victor Gomez, Group Product Manager, Label Products, Epson America. “The demand for the new SurePress L-6034VW is a testament to the need for a press that delivers excellent print quality and flexibility. Not only is this sales achievement a great win for Epson, it’s also a win for our customers that rely on Epson to deliver to their customers high quality, consistent and repeatable labels,” he added.
The SurePress L-4033 and L-6034 deliver “extraordinary flexibility and exceptionally accurate colour reproduction, providing pre-press and post-press versatility to meet the demand of various labels and package printing needs.” The SurePress L-4033AW is an easy-to-operate digital label press designed to print high-quality labels. The addition of the SurePress L-6034VW enhances Epson’s albel-printing line, and has also created tremendous demand. Both models deliver increased profitability with decreased production time, said the OEM. The SurePress L-4033AW, designed for prime label converters and commercial printers, is an easy-to-operate seven-colour inkjet digital label press with white ink that makes high-quality label printing easier and more efficient – even on clear and metallic substrates. Delivering exceptional print quality and accurate colour reproduction, as well as innovative printing features, the L-4033AW is a cost-effective and reliable solution that allows printers to expand their service offerings and improve profitability, Epson added. The SurePress L-6034VW, Epson’s first single-pass industrial press, is the first to use Epson’s PrecisionCore linehead technology and the first to use Epson’s low-migration LED UV curing ink. The L-6034VW delivers precise quality and high-speed printing ideal for jobs across all industries – including health and beauty, nutraceuticals, and food and beverage – as well as standard consumer packaged goods.
