The Specialty Graphic Imaging Association’s (SGIA) 2018 SGIA Expo (the last event before launching its much-anticipated Printing United tradeshow with NAPCO Media in 2019) brought over 24,000 people to the Las Vegas Convention Center October 18-20 and was a resounding success.
With the recent collaboration between SGIA and NAPCO Media spawning a bold new event – the 2019 Printing United tradeshow October 23-25, 2019 in Dallas, Texas – registration has already exceeded 6,000 and the show floor is filling up quickly.
Printing United will reflect the coming together of just about every printing industry sector in addition to wide-format – including digital, offset, packaging, textile printing, in-plant printing, 3D printing and much, much more.
The new tradeshow will focus on the opportunities that this convergence will bring, and will include a comprehensive display of printing technologies and supplies, educational opportunities, programs and services – all designed to take any printing business in any sector to the next level.
“This was a special year. We not only celebrated the SGIA Expo’s legacy, but its future as Printing United,” said Ford Bowers, President and CEO of SGIA. We could not be transitioning from the SGIA Expo on a higher note. The innovations, interactions and inspirations at this year’s event showed us that what’s on the horizon is a bigger, better and bolder show that will make a valuable impact on this industry.”
