The FPA (Flexible Packaging Association) has released two helpful publications. Its Operational Efficiency and Consumer Appeal eBook summarizes and highlights key takeaways from the recent Flexible Packaging Transition Advantages Study. Its new flexible packaging industry brochure, Flexible Packaging Leading the Way in Packaging Innovation, spotlights how technology and innovation have created flexible packaging, and they’ll continue to define it. The organization’s Operational Efficiency and Consumer Appeal eBook was commissioned by FPA to better quantify the impact of switching from non-flexible packaging to flexible packaging. The study integrates insights from brand owners surveyed online in September of 2016 by Packaging World, with insights from consumers surveyed online during that same month conducted by Harris Poll. The full report is only available to FPA members, but the eBook is available to both members and non-members alike.
The FPA’s new brochure Flexible Packaging: Leading the Way in Packaging Innovation provides a general overview of the flexible packaging market. Flexible packaging is at the forefront of important packaging trends in product protection, design and performance, consumer convenience and sustainability – all of which positively impact the environment, consumers and businesses. Basically, the report said, technology and innovation created flexible packaging – and will continue to define it.
