GOA 2018 registration up 30% over 2017

The Graphics of the Americas (GOA) set for February 22-24, 2018 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida at the Broward County Convention Center, opened registration for its 2018 GOA NEXT tradeshow in early August of 2017 – and the number of attendees registered has increased by almost 30% when compared to its 2017 show Reimagine It. Gabriel Hernandez, President of the GOA, attributes the growth in registration to “new strategies and investments in marketing, and partnership building with exhibitor sponsors that elevate the show’s brand and deliver more quality buyer-attendees from South America, Central America, Mexico, the Caribbean and the United States.” With about four months remaining until the 2018 tradeshow, GOA projects the growth trend to continue.

“We made the decision in 2017 to re-evaluate everything about the production and marketing of the show,” Hernandez added. “The positive response in our registration numbers is showing that our efforts are resonating with attendees. As the year ends, we have multiple, innovative campaigns with exhibiting partners that will keep pushing our registration numbers higher. These campaigns culminate with new events and promotions on the show floor that deliver a more exciting experience that attendees are demanding. The entire GOA team has worked hard and can’t wait to see it all come together this February.”
Year after year, the GOA Expo has been characterized as “a buyers show.” Throughout the past 40-plus years, the GOA has developed a special relationship with professionals and associations in North, South, Central America and the Caribbean. Over 40% of GOA’s 6,500 attendees in 2016 came from more than 72 countries. Known for its unique ability to create the industry’s most diverse and dynamic marketplace, GOA combines creative, pre/post-press, offset, digital inject grand format, flexo/label/packaging, direct-to-substrate and dye sublimation printing, bindery and finishing, and mailing and fulfillment, all in one place and under one roof.
