The event will feature informative seminars and demonstrations of some new products from Riso and Astro that are “guaranteed to improve your bottom line,” said Insource. It will be held at the YWCA at 87 Elm Street in downtown Toronto. Attendees can also pre-book private presentations – but both seating and presentation reservations are limited. The day begins with a Breakfast Seminar at 7:30 am, while the Lunch Seminar starts at noon. Food and refreshments will be provided.
Featured products from OEM Riso will include the Riso Comcolor X1 Series and Riso Comcolor FW 5230. The X1 Series features a price point of $15 for 1,000 envelopes of any size (depending on print coverage and printed envelope price), variable-data addressing in colour with marketing on the face of the envelope, 9,000 letter-size impressions per hour, numbered forms in colour for under 2¢ per copy, and perfect binding for books up to 600 pages. The Riso Comcolor FW 5230 ultra-fast compact printer can deliver 120 pages per minute (with embedded RIP) for low-cost, on-demand, full colour printing, and also features no heat for reduced energy costs, easy printing of windowed envelopes and increased post-processing efficiency.
The Memjet-powered Astro M1 features payback with less than 4,000 envelopes per month (again, depending on print coverage and printed envelope price), up to 1,600-dpi resolution, top-load bottom-feed for higher production, CMKY printing with full bleed, and integrated colour modification.
