After a successful Meet, Eat and Learn Day on RISO technology late in July in downtown Toronto, Insource (a Canadian leader in mailing & fulfillment, printing and packaging solutions) traveled to LabelExpo Americas in Rosemont, Illinois last week to support of its Canadian clients who are small and large suppliers to the Canadian label market. Insource reps were there also in support of Kirk Rudy, who was demonstrating a high-speed RFID encoding system, label verification system and continuous inkjet system for variable-data printing. Insource also met with some of the leaders in the global packaging and label-printing market, and will be sharing that knowledge and the outcomes of these exclusive meetings with its customers in the months to come.
Next stop for the Markham-Ontario-based company will be Graph Expo September 25-28 in Orlando, Florida. Insource will be there to serve its Canadian customers at several of its manufacturing partners’ booths including:
- Kirk Rudy (Booth 1771)
- W+D North America (Booth 1271)
- CDR Graphics-SCS and Petratto (Booth 2931)
- RISO (Booth 1248)
- FlexSystems (Booth 1277)
- Spiel Associates (Booth 2617)
- Therm-O-Type (Booth 2535)
- Profold (Booth 1078)
Insource added that Kirk Rudy will again be filling its 800-sq.-ft. booth at Graph Expo with “tons of amazing equipment designed for top performance in production mailing and printing operations.” The OEM will be featuring five different inkjet systems. These include the Phoenix (one of the world’s fastest high quality 4.25” inkjet printers), the super-fast KolorJet (which can print 500 full-colour envelopes with variable data in one minute), and a new high-speed, high quality 2” inkjet system. Along with the popular Kirk Rudy KR545D Tabber (which applies multiple tabs in one pass) reps will also be operating the KR497 card-attaching system. Factory personnel and Insource reps will be on hand to provide demonstrations and answer any questions.
