In an ‘online tradeshow,’ with live sessions about its new solutions for the printing industry, Koenig & Bauer LIVE will preview world launches of its Rapida 106 – Generation 2020 Offset Sheetfed Press and its VariJET 106 Digital Packaging Press, along with other new products in addition to a preview of drupa 2021. Helping to bridge the gap between drupa, originally scheduled for this month and the new date in April 2021, website visitors will discover Koenig & Bauer’s latest innovations for the printing industry. The weekday virtual event will include overviews of the OEM’s diverse portfolio. Senior company executives will provide product updates and each session will last 20 minutes and will be available in English or German.
Koenig & Bauer LIVE will open with a “sneak preview” of its planned participation at drupa 2021. Other presentations will cover digital and web-fed (corrugated and digital printing and flexo printing), sheetfed digital and commercial and packaging production applications. Marking and coding, metal decorating, glass and hollow-container printing and banknote solutions will also be included. Another highlight will be digital packaging printing updates from the new Koenig and Bauer Durst joint-venture company, plus the launch of the new B1 6,000 sph VariJET 106, that integrates inkjet technology into the platform of the high-performance Rapida 106 Offset Sheetfed Press. Also taking centre stage, as previously mentioned, will be the market launch of the Rapida 106 – Generation 2020.
