Konica Minolta expands mobile print solutions with Lantronix xPrintServer

Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A. has partnered with Lantronix to add the xPrintServer Cloud Print Edition to Konica Minolta’s EnvisionIT portfolio. The new solution enables mobile workers to print wirelessly  from Android and Google Cloud print-ready devices to any Konica Minolta bizhub MFP for increased productivity.

The Lantronix xPrintServer Cloud Print Edition is a ‘plug-and-print’ solution that enables users to print without installing special software or applications directly to a networked bizhub MFP (Multi-Function Printer) or printer from Chromebooks and Android smartphones, tablets and Kindle Fire devices. The solution features automatic discovery and printer setup and includes Konica Minolta print drivers for sophisticated function support – including user authentication and secure print capabilities.

The new xPrintServer mobile offering allows customers to view, scan and print documents securely from their mobile devices. Konica Minolta offers a range of mobile solutions, including PageScope Mobile to help users efficiently access and manage documents across mobile devices, and support for AirPrint, Google Cloud Print and The Mopria Alliance.
