Martin Yale Industries (Wabash, Indiana) has launched two new creasers specifically for small and in-plant print shops. Both the CR818 manual model and the CR828 semi-automatic model handle sheets up to 14” x 18” in weights up to 341 gsm. One unique characteristic is the availability to convert the manual CR818 easily into a semi-automatic CR828 with a conversion kit. This means that a small shop can start out with the manual model, and upgrade it to a semi-automatic model as its needs grow. The CR818 is lever-operated while the CR828 can be operated by either push-button or foot pedal.

Its hard-anodized aluminum paper guides/paper stops secure documents firmly in position for more accurate creasing. The CR818 is 24” (W) x 20” (D) x 5.25” (H) and weighs 26 lbs.
