Mohawk’s new Strathmore Swatchbook includes new Quick Spec, Browse and Details sections.

The redesigned swatchbook for Mohawk’s Strathmore Writing, Text and Cover papers makes the paper specification process clearer, easier and more inspirational for designers, printers, stationers and paper enthusiasts. Four new heritage colours have been added to the swatchbook, curated from the Strathmore Archives. They include Dusk Blue, Golden Olive, Riviera Rose and Pyro Brown. The swatchbook also includes traditional Strathmore ‘favourites’ – 25% Cotton Writing, genuine felt Grandee, deckle-edged Pastelle, unique Enhance silk and celebrated Cambric Linen.
This new resource includes a Quick Spec section that provides a quick, organized overview of colours, finishes and weights available within the paper grade. This is followed by a Browse section that allows users to dive deeper into the specification process to identify finish, shade and weight. Each waterfall within Browse contains information about available colours and weights, including one sample of every shade available within each finish. A Details section contains in-depth paper information and specific printing resources.
“Strathmore Writing, Text and Cover papers have been recognized as the finest stationery, letterpress and printing papers in the world since 1892. Handcrafted with a distinctive touch and sophisticated palette, they add an image of luxury to printed communications,” said Mohawk. The Strathmore Swatchbook was designed by Hybrid Design of San Francisco, California and produced by Fey Printing of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin.
