MPI Print (Booth 361) is a leading Toronto-based trade-only printer with two production facilities in the city. It offers its clients a large-volume trade partner who is not in the publishing business. MPI will be showcasing its new 32-page KBA Web Press that produces high-volume, low-cost print products such as magazines, books and flyers streamlined with QI Controls Automation that can produce a staggering 110,000 sheets per hour. MPI’s Sheetfed Division is one of the strongest trade sheetfed operations in Canada with one of the largest in-house trade binderies in the country.
With three separate divisions – MPI Full-Web, MPI Sheetfed and MPI Turbo – along with its new $12 million Mississauga-based Web Press facility – the Canadian trade-only leader is now serving west-end GTA clients in the Mississauga, Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton, Guelph and Kitchener Waterloo areas much more efficiently. Founded in 1998 as Millenium Printing, the company has maintained double-digital growth year after year since it opened in a 7,500-square-foot facility in Concord, Ontario.
