A stunning new limited-edition engraved print designed by Michael Osborne has just been released by Neenah Paper, accessible on its popular Beauty of Engraving website. They’re free – but only 1,000 are available on a first-come-first-served basis.
The fascinating design is based on Osborne’s collection of old stock certificates. He put the centuries-old craft of engraving to the test by designing very close to the maximum size for an engraving die, and by using very tiny type. The print was engraved by The Ligature located in Los Angeles, California. This is the sixth print commissioned by Neenah for its The Beauty of Engraving site. Previous artists included Kevin Cantrell, Jessica Hische, Armin Vit, Erin Marinovich and Two Paperdolls.
