Next DIA meeting to explore technology and opportunities in the growing 3D printing market

The International Data Corporation (IDC) forecasts that global revenues for the 3D printing market worldwide will reach $35 billion (USD) by 2020. But what exactly is the current status of the marketplace and where is it going? More importantly, is 3D printing a viable opportunity to supplement your current products and services? There are dozens of leading 3D printer manufacturers. Is it better to partner with them or with a 3D service bureau? And how do 3D printers work and what are the pros and cons of embracing this technology? This meeting will be a unique opportunity to delve into the world of 3D printing with the experts.
The meeting will take place Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Design Fusion, 60 Scarsdale Road, Unit 119, in Toronto (corner entrance). Refreshments will be served at 6 pm, the meeting will start promptly at 7 pm and end at 8:30 pm. So bring your curiosity and your questions and learn about 3D printing from the experts. Design Fusion will also open up one of its 3D printers and do a ‘technical walk through’ of the 3D printing process, end to end, showcasing key technologies. Established in 2002, Design Fusion is a premier solutions provider to the design and manufacturing industry. Armed with industry-leading HP 3D printers and a deep knowledge of Siemens PLM Software, it offers end-to-end solutions for all design and manufacturing needs in this specific sector.
