Print Digital Solutions (PDS) Open House Thursday, April 14 at OKI Data’s Head Office and Showroom in Mississauga, Ontario attracted over 100 print providers and other graphic arts professionals. The informative and educational event also launched two new printers never before seen in Canada – the OKI proColor C942e CMYK plus white Digital Production Printer, and the OKI 711DW Digital Label Press. Also shown was a full line up of OKI Digital Copiers, the Duplo 616Pro Slitter/Cutter/Creaser, DC445 Creaser/Slitter, DF1200 Folder, and Mutoh UV Flatbed Printer with CMYK, white and clear.
Live printing and finishing demonstrations
The day featured live demonstrations on new printing and finishing equipment, complimentary food and refreshments, free gift bags for everyone, and special draws for free tickets to sporting events. It was also a great opportunity for networking. Several equipment deals were closed, said PDS.
“The white ink printing was a tremendous hit,” said PDS President Dave Kisiloski. “OKI was so generous in allowing us to have the event at its head office and also provided the tickets for the draw. Reps from Mutoh, Duplo and OKI attended, and they were all a big help in making this event so successful.”
Chuck Gilder from ID Technology won Toronto Raptors playoff tickets, Bruno Carrer from OPTIPrint Services won Blue Jays tickets, and Mary Seenath from Offset Reproductions won Maple Leaf tickets.
