Characterized as “an extraordinary evening of indulgence for a noble cause,” Toronto-based Preferred Magazine Luxury for Men will hold this unique premiere charity event Friday, August 14th in the lavish, expansive 55th-floor Penthouse of the famed Trump International Hotel & Tower in downtown Toronto. All proceeds will help Ontario families and individuals coping with Autism.
“Every day, thousands of families and individuals across Ontario struggle in silence to concentrate or even understand simple words and phrases that most of us take for granted,” said Preferred Magazine Luxury for Men publisher Carlo Greco. “They may become frustrated, embarrassed or even clinically depressed. With their self-esteem shattered, most experience only shame and too often withdraw into a lonely world devoid of friends and normal activities. So, we have partnered with Autism Ontario – the province’s largest collective voice representing Ontario’s Autism community – in staging this event, with all proceeds donated to Autism Ontario.”
Autism is one of the most common developmental disabilities in Canada. About 1% of the Canadian population is affected – which means there are some 100,000 Ontarians coping with this disability. Autism can manifest itself in various forms, including Dyslexia (reading), Dyscalculia (mathematics), Dysgraphia (writing), Dyspraxia (coordination), ADD (attention) and ADHD (attention and hyperactivity).

“The event is open to both men and women and will include several exclusive amenities,” said Brian Armstrong, owner and President of Canadian trade printing leader Printer Gateway, who helped organize the event. “These will include Bespoke Tailoring, a classic hot-towel shave, premium scotch and cognac tasting, complimentary premium cigars, charity blackjack and a live auction with soft jazz playing in the background. Your ticket also includes champagne upon arrival, complimentary hors d’oeuvres and valet parking. The live auction in particular will feature a selection of rare and exclusive goods and services – including international travel, hotel accommodations, fine goods and other extraordinary services,” he added.
