Canadian variable data, digital print and mailing & fulfillment leader Prime Data (Aurora, Ontario) is now the first company in Canada to use the Delphax Elan – a high-speed, (up to 500 duplex letter images per minute) CMYK inkjet printer that makes direct mail, easier, faster and more affordable for direct marketers. Manufactured by Delphax Technologies headquartered in Bloomington, Minnesota, Elan technology reduces production time for direct mail by several days. At the same time, it offers full-colour duplex variable printing “at a price and quality previously unavailable.”
primedatadelphax1-inIt works by eliminating the need for pre-printed shells, combining printing and personalization at the same time and offering full-colour duplex printing in one pass. It’s a lower-cost alternative to offset printing and colour laser, plus, it eliminates the cost of warehousing and over-printing shells. “Prime Data invests in technology, and this particular technology is a game-changer for variable direct mail,” said Steve Falk, President of Prime Data (pictured previously). “It’s a great option for not-for-profits, but also for any organization that needs to offer the personal touch in communication with customers and prospects and reach them quickly with time-sensitive offers or appeals.”
“We’re proud to be associated with Prime Data, one of the most innovative direct marketing companies in Canada,” said Dieter Schilling, CEO and President of Delphax Technologies Inc. Prime Data is offering free, no-obligation webinars explaining how the technology can save time and money. You can find out more or sign up at www.primedata.ca/Elan.
Prime Data has been providing data-driven marketing solutions for over 15 years. For more than 35 years, Delphax Technologies has pioneered high-speed digital imaging innovations for publishers, direct marketers and other commercial print clients.
