The PRINTING United Alliance (Fairfax, Virginia), the largest and most comprehensive member-based printing and graphic arts association in the United States, has called for entries for its annual Product of the Year Awards competition. The competition includes more than 85 categories spanning the entire printing industry. Judging this year will take place via a new virtual event format. The popular industry awards showcase will be held virtually in 2020 during PRINTING United Month this October. The deadline to submit entries online is Tuesday, September 8, 2020, the day after Labour Day.
“The Product of the Year is always a thrilling competition and I’m looking forward to the progressive changes being implemented this year to allow for this great program to continue,” said Ray Weiss, Director of Digital Print Programs at the PRINTING United Alliance. “In my many conversations with exhibitors, they’re always excited for the opportunity to compete for this prestigious award.”
This year, the coveted program features a streamlined entry site along with a new virtual gallery for displaying entries. The program is open to inkjet output devices as well as non-output products that are currently available for sale. Winning companies achieve worldwide recognition and the ability to market their product as a winner during PRINTING United Month, further highlighting the transition of the previously scheduled live show in Atlanta, Georgia, now taking place digitally over four weeks of industry engagement in October.
