The Printerverse – Project Peacock Print Fair, the traveling ‘roadshow-and-tell’ event from the Print Media Centr showcasing new possibilities for print marketing, is heading to Toronto. The final event of 2019 will bring “tangible Printspiration to print-loving Canadian creatives, print buyers, marketers, students and print service providers” on Thursday, November 7 at the Steam Whistle Brewing Company, 55 Bremner Boulevard in downtown Toronto from 6 pm to 9 pm. Attendees can explore applications for offset, digital, inkjet and wide-format printing, paper samples and exceptional printed promotions, value-added finishing and “Paper to Pixel” marketing technologies.
Project Peacock Print Fair will be collaborating with key partners to bring Printspiration to another key North American market – Toronto. Canada’s leading brands and agencies will have the opportunity to experience cutting-edge creative solutions first-hand from the industry’s leading print, paper and finishing businesses. Agfa, Konica Minolta, MGI, Xeikon, Xerox, and Domtar are among those joining forces for the Project Peacock Print Fair. “Sponsoring Project Peacock is one of the best decisions we’ve made this year,” said Helene Blanchette, Global Vice President of Marketing at Xerox. “Between the dynamic engagement of Deborah Corn and the quality of engaged designers and print buyers who come to this event, we are so pleased with this alliance.”
Deborah Corn, “Intergalactic Ambassador” to The Printerverse at the Print Media Centr and the founder of Project Peacock, added: “Toronto is home to a significant, vibrant and active print community. Based on registrations to date, I’m anticipating a strong print-customer turnout, and our partners are ready to show them new possibilities to elevate their printing results and marketing returns. And of course, there’ll be beer!”
The event will begin with a cocktail hour at 6 pm and a presentation from Project Peacock founder Deborah Corn, followed by a keynote presentation from the team behind ‘Eat, Print, Love’ – an inspirational resource for print, paper and design. Following the keynote, attendees will have the chance to explore the samples and solutions from Project Peacock Print Fair partners, including a myriad of paper, print and finishing on display, demonstrating how each application can boost the print marketing experience and amplify results. Project Peacock Print Fair Toronto is free for print customers. Printers and service providers are welcome to attend for $45 (CDN) to benefit Graphic Communications students and programs.
