The Association of Registered Graphic Designers (RGD) is inviting entries for its first-ever international In-House Design Awards. The competition has been created to acknowledge and honour the work done by ever-growing creative teams that work as internal agencies. A renowned line-up of judges has been confirmed. The early-bird entry deadline is Friday, June 3 and the final deadline for entries is Friday, June 24. The creative campaign for the awards was designed by the in-house team at Capital One. For more information please visit In-House Design Awards (#RGDAwards).
Also, in partnership with the Graphic Designers of Canada (GDC) and Creative Niche, RGD is conducting a survey of salaries and billing practices across the creative industry. The survey will be open until Friday, June 17. The results (in English and French) will be freely available for everyone online this November.
The awareness campaign for the initiative (which includes paper toys of famous international creative leaders such as renowned book designer Chip Kidd), was created by Tamm + Kit. For more information please visit: 2016/2017 Creative Earners Salary Survey (#CreativeEarners).
Representing over 3,000 members, RGD is a Toronto-based non-profit organization that promotes industry knowledge sharing, continuous learning, research, advocacy and mentorship.
