Roland DGA (Irvine, California) has unveiled its new VersaExpress RF-640 8-Colour Eco-Solvent Printer – “a next-generation 64-inch wide-format inkjet with the widest colour gamut in its class for outdoor durable graphics,” said the OEM. An evolution of Roland’s popular RF-640 Dual CMYK Printer, the RF-640 features 8-colour inks in CMYK, Light Black, Red, Green and Orange for “stunningly vibrant” prints, highly accurate colour-matching capabilities, up to three years of outdoor durability, and an economical price point.”
The RF-640 8C accurately matches and reproduces colours that are normally difficult to achieve, the company added. Up to 99% of Pantone + Solid Coated spot colours are within gamut – making this inkjet an ideal choice for printers looking to match corporate brand colours.
