Toronto’s Ryerson University School of Graphic Communications Management will host three days of G7 Training May 14-16, 2019. Led by G7 Expert Don Hutcheson, the course will provide extensive hands-on experience, collaboration with other leading colour experts, discussion, and demonstrations of leading practices in G7 implementation, optimization and management of production print workflows. Instruction will cover digital, offset, wide-format, as well as a multitude of other print and proofing technologies through colour management, alignment, and process control. Along with extensive training and practical experience, attendees will gain certification to serve the print and packaging supply chains as G7 Experts or G7 Professionals. G7 is Idealliance’s global, industry-leading set of specifications for achieving visual similarity across all print processes, currently being revised into ISO 12647-2. Training is open to everyone but attendees must register in advance.
