The Colloquium Team at Ryerson University’s School of Graphic Communications Management (GCM) in downtown Toronto has announced that its annual Colloquium will be held online for the first time on Thursday and Friday, March 11 and 12, 2021. The popular event is a yearly conference organized and operated by GCM Students with the help of faculty advisors. It also brings students and members of the printing and graphic arts industry together to network, form professional business relationships, and learn from one another. The colloquium also fosters networking opportunities, meaningful connections, research findings and the opportunity to discuss trending topics across the industry.
Because of the current pandemic, this year’s event will obviously take place online only. However, this also opens up the Colloquium to a much larger international audience. This year’s theme, Sustainability in the Graphic Arts, will explore both the creative and operational issues surrounding sustainability. Be sure to save those March 11 and 12 dates, and mark them on your calendars – and watch for further updates on this website as we get closer to March.
