The Canadian Printing Industries Scholarship Trust Fund (CPISTF) has announced that Cameron Mady, a student enrolled in Ryerson University’s Graphic Communications Management (GCM) course in downtown Toronto, has won the Warren Wilkins Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship was established to honour the late Warren Wilkins, a visionary leader in the Canadian printing industry who worked diligently to foster and support new talent for the industry. The coveted scholarship was developed to provide special recognition to a particularly deserving student starting his or her post-secondary studies toward a career in the printing and graphic communications industry. “I love every aspect of the industry and am truly fascinated by the entire process – from the conception of design to receiving the finished product,” Mady pointed out.

“We’re excited to announce that Cameron Mady, a first-year Ryerson University student, has been selected to receive the $5,000 Warren Wilkins Memorial Scholarship for the 2019/2020 academic year,” said Jeff Ekstein, Chair of Canadian Print Scholarships.
“Cameron is a great example of a young person whose interest was piqued at an early age and who has pursued the path to the Graphic Communications Management program,” added Tannisha Lambert, Program Manager.
The mission of the Canadian Printing Industries Scholarship Trust Fund is to attract the brightest and the best students available to the graphic communications industry by providing financial assistance to enroll and continue in a post-secondary management or technical program at an approved institution.
