Italian manufacturer SEI and Matik, SEI’s North American distributor of converting machines, have unveiled the PaperOne Laser System. Equipped with dual-laser technology, PaperOne is “the fastest and most flexible machine on the market for complex die-cutting of packaging, greeting cards, literature, posters, envelopes and more.” For inline operation, it can be integrated with any digital press, including the HP Indigo 10000 and 30000. The new system consistently die-cuts, micro-perforates, pierces, engraves and marks paper, cardboard and adhesive-coated stocks as well as PP, BOPP and PET – and is “the only system that delivers perfect registration for single-sample or batch production.”
“An advanced system that’s easy to operate, PaperOne’s flexibility and speed are unmatched by traditional or competitive die-cutting machines,” said Steve Leibin, Executive VP of Business Development at Matik (pictured previously). “It’s fast, accurate feeder can handle many different sizes up to 19.65 by 27.55 inches as well as thicknesses from 0.007 to 0.027 inches.
SEI is one of the top laser system manufacturers in the world with over 4,500 laser systems installed globally in the past 30 years. The company designs and manufactures integrated laser systems for converting, industrial, OEM and other cutting and marking applications. Founded over 40 years ago, Matik Inc. is the premier North American distributor of SEI and other advanced European technologies. With headquarters in West Hartford, Connecticut and several regional sales offices across Canada and the U.S., Matik Inc. offers a huge range of printing, converting and packaging equipment and also provides parts and tech support.
