The 2016 Printed Electronics (PE) Symposium will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada September 13-14 as part of the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) Annual Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada, September 14 – 16. The event will offer a first-hand look at the latest technical advancements and production processes that are driving this growing imaging sector. The day-and-a-half event offers high-level education about timely challenges and solutions that are specific to the printed electronics market, and will provide opportunities to network within this community. Sessions are taught by PE experts and industry leaders, and will include topics such as films, medical sensors, flexible substrates, textile electronics and more.
Additionally, the IPC (Association Connecting Electronics Industries) has partnered with SGIA again this year to offer two education sessions during the Symposium. IPC is a global trade association dedicated to furthering the competitive excellence and financial success of its members, who are participants in the electronics industry.
Specialty imaging comprises digital imaging, screen printing and the many other imaging technologies SGIA members use, including emerging and future technologies. These are the imaging processes and technologies employed to create new products and to enhance existing products – including point-of-purchase displays, printed electronics, membrane switches, signs, advertisements, garments, containers and vehicles.
