Sign & Digital UK (SDUK) has announced the details of it next free online event in its Sign & Digital Online Series – Talking Textiles. Hosted on Hopin (the online events platform), it will take place on Tuesday, December 15 from 9.30 am to 1 pm Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) = 4:30 am to 8 am Eastern Standard Time (EST). Event organizers added that, with the growth of the digital textile printing market accelerating and forecast to quadruple in the next 7 years, “now is the time to consider adding this profitable arm to your business.” The virtual event will explore revenue opportunities for sign makers, digital printers and print service providers, as well as entrepreneurs looking to set up their own home-based business in textile printing. “From soft signage to garment apparel to interior décor and wall coverings, digital textile print spans many markets. Highlights include:
- Phil Oakley of Kornit Digital will present a Market Business Briefing on Direct-To-Garment (DTG) printing. He’ll cover workflow requirements and how to make the chaotic organized, and the complex simple.
- Colin Gillman will be chatting with Colin Marsh, Managing Director of Resolute DTG, to get his insights into the potential in the DTG market and how sign makers can get involved. He’ll also interview Magnus Mighall of RA Smart, and discuss how easy it is to get into producing personalized apparel with a DTG printer.
- The Technical Session will explore business opportunities in customizable products, with Phil McMullin and Tom Owers of Epson UK. They’ll talk about the growth in the market for personalized, high-quality garments and customized gifts.
- A final Talking Heads session, Grow your business with Textile Print in the Décor & Furnishings markets, will feature Jack Gocher and Colin joined by Garry Brown, YPS, and Beth Travers, BoBo1325, to hear first-hand about the opportunities in textile printing and the expert knowledge that’s essential to grow your business.
