Sonoco (Hartsville, SC), one of the largest diversified global packaging companies, is now offering PromoPeel Integrated Label Technology for flexible packaging. The technology allows brand owners to create instant, redeemable coupons or labels as part of the product packaging – guaranteeing a consistent label position while saving production time and costs, said the company.
The label lays flat, removes cleanly and eliminates scanning issues at the register. PromoPeel improves labour and production efficiencies by avoiding secondary processes associated with Pressure-Sensitive Label (PSL) applications. It runs on existing filling lines and can be implemented at a relatively low-cost. PromoPeel integrated label technology is aimed at coupons, recipes, peel-and-reveal games, trivia, contests, cross-promotions and more.
