Toronto-based Messagepoint, a leader in developing and delivering innovative software and services within the Customer Communications Management (CCM) market, has announced that Ray Stultz has joined the company as Director of Healthcare Accounts and Product Strategy. In his new position, he’ll help in setting the Messagepoint healthcare solution “roadmap” and will work closely with clients in a consultative role to ensure that products and services are aligned with customer and industry requirements. Stultz brings to Messagepoint more than 9 years of healthcare industry experience in product development, relationship management, contract negotiations, establishing strategic direction, and developing new, cost-effective approaches to improving business processes for members’ communications.
Prior to joining Messagepoint, Stultz was a Product Manager for Harken Health, a division of UnitedHealth Group, where he was responsible for managing the pharmacy, dental, vision and behavioural health aspects of the health plan’s products for all lines of business. Prior to Harken Health, he held positions within UnitedHealth Group – including business development within its Emerging Businesses Group, responsible for ensuring continual process improvement within UnitedHealthcare Shared Services. In addition, he led the effort to develop a “best-in-class” Medicare & Retirement sales booklet, for which he received the UHG Innovation Award in 2011.
“Ray brings invaluable experience that will make a positive impact on our efforts to serve the healthcare industry,” said Steve Biancaniello, CEO of Messagepoint. “He’s well positioned to assist health payers and Medicare Advantage plans in getting new products to market faster, and more effectively communicating on a personal level with existing and prospective members. We welcome him to our team.”
