Current Zünd America employees and management celebrate the breaking of ground for its new new Headquarters in Oak Creek, Wisconsin,

Zünd America recently held a ground breaking ceremony for its new North American Headquarters being constructed at Drexel Town Square in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. Set to be completed in September of 2019, Zünd America will relocate to Oak Creek from its current location in Franklin, Wisconsin. The new headquarters will include offices as well as spaces for product displays, customer and employee training, and warehousing for it products and miscellaneous materials that support the installation and servicing of Zünd equipment. The building will also include loading docks for shipping and receiving. Since 2004, when it was first established, Zünd America’s office in Franklin, Wisconsin has grown from five employees and 10,000 square feet to nearly 80 employees and over 25,000 square feet of demonstration, service, office and warehouse space. From these offices, Zünd supports thousands of customers across Canada and the U.S. in graphics, packaging, leather, textiles/composites, manufacturing and other industries that rely on Zünd cutters for precise and efficient digital cutting.

“With our new building of more than 50,000 square feet in Oak Creek, we’ll have the facilities and resources to continue to provide our customers with the best possible sales and service support and keep growing for many years to come,” said Oliver Zünd, Zünd Systemtechnik AG’s CEO, and President of Zund America. “With the completion of our new headquarters, we’re very excited to further contribute to the Oak Creek community by not only attracting many visitors from all over the U.S. and Canada, but by also supporting local programs such as the Oak Creek High School Robotics Team, and by being great corporate neighbours to The Drexel Town Square Development.”
The striking new building was designed by Graf & Tolosa of San Francisco with Eppstein Uhen Architects (EUA), headquartered in Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward, serving as the Project Architect. Hunzinger Construction Company is the Construction Manager on the project. The design team also includes Ring & DuChateau, LLP as MEP designers, Kapur & Associates, Inc. as Civil Engineers, and Pierce Engineers serving as the Structural Engineer.
