Custom Colour Imaging becomes first Taopix Ai user in North America

Custom Colour Imaging & Publishing of Toronto, a full-service professional photo-finishing and printing company with clients across Canada and the United States, has become the first adopter of Taopix Artificial Intelligence technology in North America. UK-based Taopix is the world’s leading developer of white-label personalization and photo-commerce software. Its Ai-enabled software enables the intelligent creation of photo books and similar multi-image photo gift products. The photo book sector currently suffers from a surprising statistic. About 70% of all photo-book projects started are never completed. It’s widely believed that the most significant factor is the time and effort it takes to actually make a photo book. The new technology automatically and significantly reduces the time and complexity required to create these types of books.

Leo Sciarrino.

“We have over 46 years of expertise in the print and publishing sector and invest continually in the most advanced equipment and technologies in order to deliver only the best results to our customers,” said Leo Sciarrino, President of Custom Colour Imaging & Publishing. “The Taopix Ai technology will allow us to simplify the creation process for our end users by intelligently selecting photos and building photo books and albums in their order of events – thus removing the time-consuming process of doing this manually. We recognize that this kind of time saving for our customers is ‘priceless.’ After all, time is money. The addition of the Taopix Ai technology to our existing Taopix platform opens up a whole host of opportunities for us in the future, and we have no doubt that it will give us a competitive advantage,” Sciarrino added. The company currently operates from a 63,000-sq.-ft. production facility.
Michael Carey.

“We’re incredibly proud to welcome Custom Colour onto our Taopix.ai platform,” said Michael Carey, Business Development Manager at Taopix. “Custom Colour has continued to impress us with its plans for future growth. And thanks to our Ai technology, we’re extremely excited to have the opportunity to be part of its ongoing success.”
