Infigo software partners with Two Sides organization

Infigo Software (Crawley, England) has announced its first new partnership of 2019 – with Two Sides. Two Sides is a global, not-for-profit initiative by companies from the printing and graphic communications industry including forestry, pulp, paper, inks and chemicals, pre-press, press, finishing, publishing, printing, envelopes and postal operators. The non-profit organization’s goal is to promote the sustainability of the printing and graphics communications industry, while dispelling common environmental misconceptions – by providing users with verifiable information on why print and paper is an attractive, practical and sustainable communications medium. The international Two Sides network now spans several countries and is present in Europe, North America, Australia, South Africa, and South America, with more than 1,000 members.
“At Infigo Software we’re acutely aware of the need to keep the print-buying public properly informed and educated about the positive and ongoing improvements the industry undertakes to benefit the environment,” the company added. “For instance, did you know that over 72% of paper consumption in Europe is recycled, that energy consumption within the industry is now lower than it was at the beginning of the century, and that the industry is key in the continuing growth of European forests.” Infigo went on to say that “membership for us, as for all members, came only after a commitment to adopt these Two Side Principles – firstly, we’ll conduct our businesses in an environmentally and socially responsible manner, and secondly, we’ll support and encourage forest certification initiatives as well as the practical use of recycled fibre in suitable products.”
