InkRouter (Las Vegas, Nevada), a complimentary print-procurement software solution for web-to-print storefronts that connects resellers of print and promotional products with print providers worldwide, has unveiled InkRouter xPRESS. The web-based technology is a turnkey solution that expands the market for printers with a unique product that doesn’t require a fully automated workflow. The InkRouter xPRESS dashboard allows boutique print shops and producers of specialized print products to participate in InkRouter’s expanded global network of print sellers and print providers at no cost. “InkRouter xPress is the easiest entry to a global print network,” said Robert Godwin, Director of Business Development at InkRouter. “All you need is a browser and you can participate as a print provider for the competitively priced products you offer.”
Developed as an easy web client, InkRouter xPRESS reduces the barrier to entry for qualifying print providers. Smaller print providers without the technical resources or high volume for particular products will benefit greatly from the scheduling dashboard to receive and manage orders, said the company. Print providers can be set up in the InkRouter network within two days. The manual dashboard system is accessible from any browser and doesn’t require any software integration. Printers simply need to complete credential set-up and testing to begin. Qualifying print providers will be notified via an email or text message when orders are placed. InkRouter xPRESS orders are manually accepted within one hour to ensure timely fulfillment. After the first hour, orders are made available to the next best match within the network. Current participating printers with unique products include a producer of personalized edible cookies, a dedicated booklet printer that services customers with expedited service, and a specialty tissue gift-wrap printer. Finally, to participate in InkRouter’s global network, print providers must demonstrate their ability to deliver quality products on time.
