Konica Minolta upgrades Dispatcher Phoenix document workflow

kmphoenix-inKonica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A. has announced a new release of its award-winning Dispatcher Phoenix family of document workflow automation products – which include industry-specific versions for the education, healthcare, government, finance and legal markets. With the introduction of Dispatcher Phoenix 5.6, users will experience “enhanced functionality and new features to help improve and maximize their business efficiencies.” Integrating directly into the Konica Minolta bizhub MFP control panel, Dispatcher Phoenix streamlines document scanning, indexing, processing and routing using a visually enhanced display.
Especially useful for sharing files with teams securely, Dispatcher Phoenix includes connectors to leading content management systems and cloud storage solutions – such as SharePoint, Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, FileAssist and others. Dispatcher Phoenix also offers a large variety of processes to suit any business need or vertical market requirement, follow-you print capabilities, and iOS/Android apps for mobile users to access and submit files to their workflows.

  • An automated Barcode Writer process which provides an easy way to insert barcodes with labels directly onto documents anywhere on the page using static text, dynamic content from documents, numeric counters and much more.
  • A new connector to Microsoft’s popular OneDrive for Business cloud storage platform – which provides users with a quick and secure way to scan, process and upload their files to OneDrive for Business for future collaboration, access and sharing. Customers can now leverage the power of their bizhub Multi-Function Printers by accessing their OneDrive for Business account directly at the bizhub touchscreen. For a hands-free solution, files can also be automatically processed and stored in the correct OneDrive for Business directory as well.
  • Google Cloud Print input where users can print from their PCs, Chromebooks, phones or tablets using the Google Cloud Print service – and send their files directly into Dispatcher Phoenix for seamless processing, routing and printing.
  • SharePoint Connector enhancements that now include support for SharePoint Online, as well as new NTLM and Negotiate authentication mechanisms as part of SharePoint 2013 support.
