Markzware announces Q2ID with QuarkXPress 2016 support

markzwareupgrade-inMarkzware (Santa Ana, California), a leading developer of print, publishing and file conversion software, has announced a new Q2ID (Quark to InDesign) version. The popular Adobe InDesign plug-in now has QuarkXPress 2016 (also known as QXP v12) support. Q2ID is available for Mac and Windows platforms for InDesign CC 2015, 2014, CC, CS6, CS5.5 and CS5.
The Q2ID InDesign plugin allows users to convert QuarkXPress documents to Adobe InDesign. Users can open QuarkXPress files within a new InDesign document, without rebuilding the QXP document from scratch. File conversion with Q2ID gives a quick, easy way to import QuarkXPress content into InDesign, allowing the workflow to move forward.
New preferences improve file conversion while reducing the amount of adjusting needed after the data conversion. The user can run both ID2Q for QuarkXPress 9 Mac and 10 Mac on the same computer, with improved support for fonts and image linking.
