At the upcoming ISA Sign Expo, Onyx Graphics will be providing a glimpse of the next major release of Onyx software that “offers printers the ability to go beyond the limitations of wide-format print.” The next major release will be available for the full range of Onyx solutions, including Onyx Thrive print workflow software and Onyx RIP products. This latest release builds upon Onyx software’s version 18.5, a three-time award winner for best colour management as well as RIP and print workflow solutions in 2018. “Our customers deserve the very best solutions to help them challenge the status-quo of digital inkjet print applications,” said Kevin Murphy, President and CEO of Onyx Graphics. “This upcoming release does exactly that and we couldn’t be happier that it commemorates our 30th anniversary.” The annual ISA Sign Expo alternates locations between Las Vegas, Nevada, and Orlando, Florida. For 2019, the event will be held April 23-26 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The announcement of a new Onyx software version also coincides with the anniversary of the International Sign Association. Over the years, The International Sign Association (ISA) has become a leading industry voice for printers everywhere on the latest and most innovative print solutions. “As ISA celebrates its 75th anniversary, we have spent time looking back at how our industry has changed and forward at coming innovations,” said Lori Anderson, President and CEO of ISA. “For the past 30 years, Onyx Graphics has been there driving our industry forward, and I know that they will continue to play an important role in future innovations. The next major release of ONYX software is anticipated to be globally available this summer covering the entire product portfolio of ONYX solutions – including Onyx Thrive print workflow software, Onyx PosterShop and Onyx RIPCenter RIP software. It’ll be available to all Onyx Advantage customers by requesting a key update, and to all other customers through a license purchase.
