Prinova partners with Williams Lea Tag and receives $17 million from Volition Capital

Prinova’s Messagepoint platform has been added to Williams Lea Tag’s specialized solutions to offer its clients internal control over messaging content, messaging rules and approval workflows prior to production. Partnering with Williams Lea Tag expands Prinova’s market reach (in the UK) and provides Williams Lea Tag clients with access to a powerful platform that makes it possible to edit, modify and test content and messages to be used in their customer communications without the involvement of IT. Williams Lea Tag will also offer Messagepoint as a managed services offering, allowing Williams Lea Tag’s business users to manage content on behalf of clients while still enabling proofing and approvals from the customer.

Messagepoint is a hybrid cloud-based content management platform serving the CCM needs of large-enterprise clients. It provides an intuitive and secure environment for business users to directly own and control touchpoint messaging content and business rules driving the pace of change for customer-facing print and digital communications. Prinova also recently received a $17 million investment from Volition Capital to help expand Prinova’s Messagepoint SaaS (Software as a Service) platform. Volition Capital is a Boston-based growth equity firm that principally invests in high-potential, founder-owned companies across different technology sectors. The $17 million will help to fast-track Prinova’s global strategy to pursue higher growth markets and expanded innovation for Messagepoint. “Prinova’s Messagepoint platform is revolutionary for solving many complicated challenges that large enterprises face in managing content within their customer communications,” said Volition Capital Managing Partner Roger Hurwitz, who will be joining Prinova’s Board of Directors. “We firmly believe that Prinova is poised for significant global growth and are excited to work together to get the company and Messagepoint to the next level.” Volition Vice President Jake Colognesi will also be joining the Prinova Board.
