Calgary’s Bolder Graphics expands its small to medium format printing capabilities

bolderwideformat-inLeading Western Canada printer Bolder Graphics has acquired the majority of assets a Calgary-based small-format printing company. These assets include small to medium format printing and finishing technologies. This acquisition will allow Bolder to enhance its current products and services to existing legal, engineering, architectural and construction clients. These products and services include stationary, architectural drawings and blueprints, postcards and brochures. “We’ve focused on expanding our wide-format printing services for the past couple of years, and now we’re excited to offer our clients on the small-format side expanded products and services too,” said Kevin McCoy, President of Bolder Graphics.

Some of the assets purchased include Duplo finishing equipment, wide-format scanners and printers, Toshiba KIP3100 wide-format printers, an automated envelope printing line, wide-format and small-format laminators, and various automated mechanical binding systems. “We’re excited to further explore the capabilities of these machines, and push the envelope on what’s possible with small to medium-format printing,” McCoy added.
The company has also specialized in the design and production of retail POP displays, indoor and outdoor advertising, vehicle graphics and corporate packaging products for over 40 years.
