Digital Sign Technologies releases Print Head Doctor 15

Digital Sign Technologies (Mississauga, Ontario) has released a new version of its Print Head Doctor (PHD) machines that’s fully mobile-app-controlled, and can clean inkjet printheads in a fully automatic mode. The new PHD Model 15 can switch any of its ports between pressure and vacuum, enabling it to run complex recovery programs in one set-up with no operator intervention. The technology can safely clean the entire range of OEM printheads – from Epson DX to Kyocera KJ4. In addition, users can create custom recovery programs and remotely control a PHD15 via an Android app.
Print Head Doctor 15 can be used to recover and clean all kinds of inkjet printheads for 2D or 3D printers. Users can safely revive old printheads and extend their life and longevity, thereby “decreasing the amount of printheads they have to repurchase and saving themselves thousands of dollars in costs,”  said the company. Digital Sign Technologies has been delivering alternative printing consumables for the past 15 years. In addition to printhead recovery systems, it’s pioneered alternative printing inks for wide-format printers, cartridge chip solutions and bulk-ink feeding systems.
