First debuted at Belgium’s Labelexpo Europe in September, Domino’s ultra-fast K600i dual-bar, dual-speed digital UV inkjet printer will help label printers and converters make more money by significantly improving productivity, said the OEM. The K600i prints variable data, including barcodes, QR codes, sequence numbering and more. It also integrates easily with flexo label presses, re-winders and finishing systems, allowing users to maximize the value of their existing assets. For example, running at 600 x 600 dpi resolution at 492 feet per minute, the K600i can produce over 29,000 linear feet per hour. Running that on the 13.3”-wide K600i dual bar enables 650,000 bar codes to be printed every hour. And, its dual-bar system is also available in other size configurations.
Also available is a 21.96”-wide unit which can be integrated with a 20” press, producing over one million barcodes per hour. The Domino K600i printer is based on the same platform as the highly successful K600i single-bar digital UV inkjet printer that currently has over 350 installations worldwide. “The Domino K600i can double production speeds, reduce operating costs, increase capacity and allow users to make more money from existing assets,” said the company.
