Fall is show time – and we’ll see you every one

We’ll be attending and covering three of the most important annual industry tradeshows this month and next. Sign Expo Canada, the Sign Association of Canada’s popular national event that showcases the latest the Canadian sign industry has to offer, will take place Sept. 20-21 at the International Centre in Mississauga, Ontario. This event provides opportunities to learn, network and be a part of its annual sign competition, wrap and design contest, and other well-attended social events. So please stop by our booth, sign up for a free printed magazine, and enter a draw to win a great prize.
The printing industry’s longest-running event, PRINT 19 Oct. 3-5 at Chicago’s McCormick Place North, will bring together leaders of the printing industry from over 80 countries. It’ll feature the latest printing equipment, services and technology, plus over 80 educational sessions. Pre-registered attendees can take advantage of free programs – including TechWalks, PRINT 19’s exclusive expert technologies and topics of interest. Please visit us at booth 2701.
The Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, Texas will host the highly anticipated Printing United Oct. 23-25. Built on the successful SGIA Expo, the event will reflect the convergence that’s currently occurring in our industry as printers seek to offer services and products beyond their traditional scope. More than 650 exhibitors will occupy over 720,000 sq. ft. of floor space.
At press time, Toronto’s Ryerson University and its School of Graphic Communications Management (GCM) were planning a special evening in early October to honour Mary Black, an admired leader in our industry who lost her battle with cancer July 5. The special evening will celebrate her life and her many accomplishments. Mary was the former chair of GCM and the force behind providing the school with its own building. We’ll be there to cover the evening.
Finally, our second annual Wide Format Guide 2019 is now scheduled to be an outsert in our October, 2019 printed issue. For more information, or to advertise, please call me at (905) 513-3999.

As always, stay positive and stay focused,
