Fujifilm’s new Acuity Ultra is a super-wide UV roll-to-roll printer that offers increased size and improved print quality to make the production of high-end interior graphics much more profitable. It’s available in 126” (3.2 m) and 197” (5 m) models. Utilizing Fujifilm’s new Uvijet GS inks with a 3.5-picolitre drop size that ensures high quality output, the grand-format printer is ideal for the high-end indoor display market – especially for luxury brands with print quality comparable to litho. Its size, multi-roll capabilities and high speeds give printers the ability to profitably create exhibition graphics, point-of-purchase displays, high-value graphic art, and indoor backlit displays.
Fujifilm’s Greenguard-certified Uvijet GS inks with low VOC emissions were developed specifically for use with its Acuity Ultra Series. They produce a low-build ink film with excellent coverage and adhesion, vibrant high-density backlit applications, and have a durable finish. The printer is equipped other advanced features – including a unique chilled vacuum table to enable printing of thin, heat-sensitive substrates, as well as a backlighting feature that enables image quality to be monitored during printing.
