The Kodak Scanza Scanner is a film-to-JPEG converter that can digitize a variety of film and slide formats – including 35mm, 126, 110, super 8 and 8mm negatives and slides – into optimized, 14-megapixel or interpolated 22-megapixel digital files. Images can then be transferred to any Mac or PC for storage, editing, page layouts and so on. The new scanner includes various film adapters and inserts, a built-in LCD colour display, an easy-to-use operational interface, and multiple cables to facilitate easy device hook-up. The scanner’s intuitive interface allows users to enhance the image quality of their films, including the ability to adjust RGB levels as well as brightness.
Using the scanner’s gallery mode, users can display images in a slideshow, then rotate, flip and delete images. The 3.5” HD LCD colour display also features convenient tilt for easy operation and image viewing, to easily edit images using the scanner’s various settings. Its multiple film inserts and adapters allow for the converting of various negatives and slides quickly, while its large one-touch buttons allow for one-step scan and save. The user interface also includes image editing and a gallery for browsing through saved images.
